Everyone at Ravelrig will be cheering for Dianne Allan, one of our Monday night riders who is competing in the RDA National Championships down in Hartpury in Gloucestshire. The event is running from Friday 13th July until Sunday 15th July and Dianne’s event is on the Saturday.
We all wish her the best of luck on the day, we know she will have an amazing time.
We also want to thank Borders RDA group for allowing Dianne to ride one of their wonderful horses, Domino at the event.
Good Luck and looking forward to hearing all about it!
Well Done to everyone who took part in the Edinburgh and Borders RDA Region Dressage Qualifiers at the weekend. The event took place in the Scottish National Equestrian Centre and Tonto went along with three of our riders strut their stuff.
Our riders did Ravelrig proud and with three 1st positions and one 3rd. We were overjoyed with everyone’s hard work.
The prize winners were
Calum Leather, in the senior group, Finlay Burnside and Reann Hornby in the Junior group.
Alisha Dickson was another winner in the Arts and Craft section for her wonderful model of Buddie and her.
And not to be left out Tonto who Calum, Finlay and Reann all rode won for best Condition and Turnout.
Please remember that RDA Lessons are cancelled on Saturday 9th April 2016 as the horses will be competing with some of our riders at the Regional RDA Dressage Competition. We wish them all luck and will let you know how they get on. Saturday volunteers should attend as usual as there are still all the regular chores to do!
