A Pawsome Dog Show

Thank you to everyone who came along to our Dog Show on Sunday, we had over 40 dogs taking part and we all had a barktastic time.

The event was kindly sponsored by our friends at Coxydene Farm Foods in Kirknewton, who provided prizes for the classes and raffle.  We are really grateful for their support and generosity.

We had 6 classes and the big finale was the Best in Show.  The most entertaining class was the best retrieve which created a few giggles.  A big thank you to all the lovely dogs who took part and they were all so well behaved.

We raised over £400 for Ravelrig, which is fantastic and will go a long way in helping support the stables, horses and riders.  Our events are not possible without the people organising, the generosity of people with raffle prizes, home baking and of course the wonderful volunteers who helped on the day.

Don’t forget we have our Book Sale coming up at the end of September at the Gyle, if you have any books or are able to help over the weekend of the sale then please let us know.

Thank you

Dressage

Well Done to everyone who took part in the Edinburgh and Borders RDA Region Dressage Qualifiers at the weekend.  The event took place in the Scottish National Equestrian Centre and Tonto went along with three of our riders strut their stuff.

Our riders did Ravelrig proud and with three 1st positions and one 3rd.  We were overjoyed with everyone’s hard work.

The prize winners were

Calum Leather, in the senior group, Finlay Burnside and Reann Hornby in the Junior group.

Alisha Dickson was another winner in the Arts and Craft section for her wonderful model of Buddie and her.

And not to be left out Tonto who Calum, Finlay and Reann all rode won for best Condition and Turnout.

Well Done Everyone!
